Wildflower Meadow

A complex Indian embroidery was the starting point for this design. Reworking it into a panel, the painting began to resemble a wildflower meadow. The very one my father is so proud of in his garden. The yellow rattle suppresses the grasses, allowing for many different varieties of wildflower, Cornflower etc. A detailed eye catching pattern emerges.
